"HasbunAllah" Islamic Wooden Sign | Handmade on Walnut Wood

“HasbunAllah wa ni'mal wakeel” (Quran 3:173) means Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

This ayah is the embodiment of trust, contentment, and gratitude. When I first laid eyes on the rustic, wavy shape of this walnut oval, I knew I had to pair it with the calligraphy of ‘habunallah” because of its artistic shape and meaning.

I find that the rich, warm tone of walnut wood embodies the feeling of comfort and relief felt by living with this ayah. Just as the wood warmly houses the bright florals, so too does Allah embrace us warmly as our trust in Him grows.

I surrounded the ayah with wisteria, iris, daisy, and wildflowers to capture the feeling of joy, abundance, and life.
